Mission
It is the mission of the Richmond Sanitary District to reduce pollution and safeguard the public health by providing cost effective services and educating the public to reduce, reuse and recycle the community’s waste in conformance with local, state and federal statutes. These services will result in a constantly improving environmental quality of life throughout the District and adjoining communities.

Please remember Richmond Sanitary District and the New Paris Pike Landfill will be closed on Thursday, July 4th in honor of Independence Day.
Trash and recyclable collection for Thursday, July 4th will be Monday, July 8th. Please have all containers out for collection by 6:00 AM.
