About the Market
The Richmond Farmers Market is a Growers‐Only Market to look out for our local farmers and producers. Vendors are the growers and producers of the fruits, vegetables, plants, herbs, flowers, baked goods, dried goods, jams, honey, syrup and/or other approved products they intend to sell at the market. The Richmond Farmers Market supports local, small‐scale farmers and gardeners by providing a marketing opportunity to sell homegrown produce, and homemade farm‐related items directly to consumers.
Summer Market:
Open on Saturdays from May-October, 9am-Noon. Located at Jack Elstro Plaza (47 N 6th Street, Richmond, Indiana).
Tuesday Twilight Markets are open on Tuesdays from July-September from 4pm-7pm, also at Jack Elstro Plaza.
Upcoming Event Days:
Thursday, October 17th 5pm-8pm: Market in The Moonlight at Glen Miller Park. Market in the Moonlight is a special evening pop-up event with the Richmond Farmers Market in collaboration with Richmond Parks and Recreation, featuring local vendors, live music, food trucks, a jack-o'-lantern contest, fire-lit pond, and family-friendly activities. Enjoy a unique shopping experience under the stars while supporting local artisans and small businesses in a festive autumn atmosphere.
Saturday, October 26th 9am-12pm: Richmond Farmers Market Harvest Festival! Our annual Harvest Festival celebrates the end Summer Season with plenty of family friendly activities, vendor shopping, silent auction & more. This date is also the final outdoor Market before the RFM moves to The Starr Gennett Building.
Winter Market:
Open on Saturdays from November-April, 9am-Noon. Located at the Starr Gennett Building (101 S 1st Street, Richmond, Indiana).

Winter Farmers Market Open House: Thursday, October 3rd, 2024 6pm-7:30pm. Stop by The Starr Gennett Building to meet the Market Staff, tour our Winter facility, ask questions about becoming a vendor & complete winter applications.
Winter Farmers Market Pre-Season Meeting: Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 6pm via Zoom (link to be provided via Facebook & our weekly Market Newsletter). The Richmond Farmers Market Pre-Season Meeting is an online meeting for current and prospective vendors to review market regulations, learn about vendor opportunities, and discuss plans for the upcoming season, including special events like the Holiday Market. This meeting ensures vendors are informed and prepared, fostering a successful and collaborative market experience
Opening and Closing Dates for the 2024-2025 Market First Saturday: November 2, 2024. Last Saturday: April 26, 2025.
Holiday Closures: The Market will not be open on the following dates - November 30th, December 28th & January 4th.
