Road construction is kicking up here in Richmond. Next week, Indiana Department of Transportation: East Central begins work on US 27 South from Sim Hodgin Pkwy to the 70 Interchange. They are expecting traffic to be limited to one lane of travel in each direction and plan to work during the night as much as possible
Work on Richmond's #CommunityCrossings project is scheduled to begin on July 15th. The entire project is anticipated to wrap up in mid-August. Each road is anticipated to take approximately seven days, contingent on weather and scheduling. During which time, traffic will be maintained using flaggers.
