RICHMOND, IN. – Richmond Parks and Recreation Department has announced that the Floral Division and Greenhouse will be conducting a series of gardening classes. All of the classes will be held on Tuesday evenings at the Pavilion at Springwood Park (Waterfall Rd). The classes will start at 5:30pm and will last until roughly 7:00pm. Classes will take place on the second Tuesday of the month from October to March.
Each gardening class will cover a different topic. The schedule and topics for each class are:
Parks Superintendent Denise Retz remarked, “These classes are a great opportunity to learn about plants and gardening, spend time with friends and family, and connect with fellow community members. We hope to see you there!”
A donation of $5 per person is requested for all classes, except for the Christmas Centerpiece Class which costs $25 per person. Reservations are requested, but they're not required. Call the Parks' Greenhouse at (765) 939-1780 to reserve your place at a class or for further details about a class.
