Calling all ghosts, goblins, witches, and wizards! Are you ready to unleash your inner spookiness and indulge in a sweet adventure? Trick-or-Treat night is creeping closer! Get ready for a hauntingly delightful evening as the City of Richmond invites you to join in the Halloween fun on Thursday, October 31, 2024, Trick-or-Treat will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Get your costumes ready and prepare for a night filled with thrills, chills, and of course, lots of treats!

Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume Contest

Join the Richmond Parks and Recreation for their annual Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume Contest, sponsored by Hill's Pet Nutrition. This spooktacular event will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Hill's Bark Park,  located next to Middlefork Reservoir. Are you excited to showcase your pet's costume? Whether you and your pet have matching outfits, or your pet's costume is the funniest, scariest, or most creative, this is the perfect opportunity to celebrate together. Registration is now open, and the deadline for submissions is 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024. We can't wait to see your furry friends at Hill's Bark Park! Trick-or-Treat In The Park

Experience the magic of Halloween at the annual Trick-or-Treat In The Park hosted by Richmond Parks and Recreation! Get ready to showcase your spooktacular costumes and collect treats from over 20 local organizations. Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Glen Miller Park. Join us for an evening of trick-or-treating and exciting games, specially designed for children aged 12 and under. Families with children who have sensory processing difficulties are invited to a sensory-friendly trick-or-treat hour before the main event, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Arrive at 4:00 p.m. to enjoy a serene and relaxed atmosphere with fewer street crossings, minimal decorations, and optional costumes. Please note that if your child does not have sensory processing difficulties, the main event will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
