The City of Richmond employs approximately 400 employees spread over 15 departments. Our job is to recruit and hire qualified employees to fill vacancies, advise department heads on personnel matters and developing a quality workforce.
The Human Resources Department is responsible for employment, employee and labor relations, property and liability insurance, worker's compensation, and safety, and the management of the following services:

· Property/Casualty Insurance
· Workers Compensation
· ADA/Title VI Compliance
