HRC Announces 'Third Thursday' Clinics

The Richmond Human Rights Commission, in cooperation with the Baxter Neighborhood Help Center, will be conducting 'Third Thursday' clinics on the third Thursday of each month, starting on June 19th, at the Help Center from 2-5 PM. The purpose of these clinics is to provide an additional location for individuals to speak with Commission staff regarding Human and Civil Rights issues; Landlord/Tenant issues; ask questions regarding the Commission and; to file preliminary inquiries with the Commission. If you have difficulty coming to our office at the Richmond Municipal Building, please make plans to attend a 'Third Thursday' at the Baxter Neighborhood Help Center, 41 Richmond Avenue!

Landlord/Tenant Relations Seminars

The City of Richmond Human Rights Commission will be conducting Landlord/Tenant Relations Seminars on the following dates:

June 3rd, 6:30 PM - Baxter Neighborhood Help Center

June 26th, 6:30 PM - Jerry Geier Apartments Community Room

July 10th, 6:30 PM - Southview Apartments Community Room

July 31st, 2:00 PM - Merle Henderson Apartments Community Room

Affordable Housing Tax Credit Application
Richmond, INA proposed affordable housing development, known as Nine North, is applying to U.S. Internal Revenue Service’s Low Income Housing Tax Credits Program through Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority (IHCDA) for tax credits for assistance in financing.

Rose View Transit Offers Free Rides in Honor of Earth Day

Richmond, IN – Rose View Transit is offering free rides in honor of Earth Day on Saturday, April 26, 2008. Riding the Transit buses is a good way to save the environment from engine pollutants. It will also save the driver gasoline and money.

RoseView Transit Unveils Bike Racks
Richmond, IN – The City of Richmond will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new bike racks that have been installed on all the Rose View Transit buses. The public is invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 10:00 AM in the Municipal Building parking lot. Read more here!
