The Street Department manages the maintenance of all city street trees. Services such as trimming, stump removal, planting, and removal of storm damaged are handled by the department. Any concerns or questions regarding a tree or limb in a power line should be directed to Richmond Power and Light. Requests for the removal of a street tree must be directed to the Street Tree Commission for review and approval.
