When the city experiences snow fall causing slippery road conditions, the Street Department first clears the main, arterial roads. Once these have been cleared and salted, the secondary and residential roads will be cleared.

Leaf Collection

The Street Department picks up leaves every year from approximately October 15th through December 1st. The City is divided into four sections with one crew assigned each section. Leaves should be raked into the curb area no higher than two feet high and approximately two feet from the curb.
