Sports and Fitness Program Information

Punt, Pass, and Kick: This year’s Punt, Pass, and Kick competition will be held on Saturday, August 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Clear Creek Park Diamond #2. Register the day of the event starting at 9:00 a.m.

Fall Adult Volleyball League:   We will once again be offering a Men’s and a Mixed League this year. Registration deadline is Tuesday October 7. League play will begin on Tuesday October 14 . Games will be played at the Richmond Senior Center.

Registration Fee is $125.00 plus $25.00 Improvement Fee.
 
Fall One-Pitch Softball : We will be offering a One-Pitch Softball League this fall. Men’s League will play on Mondays and the Mixed League will play on Tuesdays. Registration deadline is Friday September 5. Registration fee is $280.00 plus $25.00 improvement fee.

ROSE CITY BMX CLUB

The Rose City BMX Club holds their races at the BMX track located at Freeman Park. The schedule for this summer kicks off with a race on Monday May 26 and continues with:
June – Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
July – Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
August – Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
September – Saturdays at 6:30p.m.

ROSE CITY HORSESHOE LEAGUE

The Rose City Horseshoe League established around 1960 will begin the first of May with an “A” and “B” League (depending on number of teams). The Leagues play on the ten, lighted clay courts located at Clear Creek Park. All Skill Levels of Juniors, Seniors, Men and Women are welcome to join! Matches are held on Thursday Nights and start at 6:00 p.m. with the makeup rain date on Tuesdays. Teams are made up of four players. Individuals are welcome and will be added to a team. HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE BASEBALL

Don’t forget to come to Historic McBride Stadium this spring to check out some exciting high school and college baseball, as the Richmond Red Devils and Earlham Quakers will once again be calling McBride Stadium home. Watch for dates and times!
