The Citizen’s Advisory Council has worked with community groups and agencies to formulate and work on Active Projects that seem at this time to be the best specific ways to implement the plan. This committee and these groups have made substantial progress on a number of these projects, and have also found that some elements of the original plan should be revised and updated. The structure for implementing the plan and also for revising it, as needed, has been tested and everyone involved is encouraged by the results.

These amendments were introduced to the Plan Commission on August 27, 2009.
