1. Promoting and facilitating the creation of community collaborations and partnerships.

2. Developing an educated, competent, responsive workforce for 21st century business and industry.

3. Ensuring the health and development of our children and youth.

4. Building attractive, clean, safe, cohesive neighborhoods full of owner-occupied homes. To help ensure that everyone in our community has suitable, affordable housing, this administration has developed partnerships with citizens groups, area businesses and local organizations that address housing needs.

5.Cultivating postive, hopeful attitudes among our citizens who are proud to live here and who respect and honor one another.

6. We are working hard to improve the safety of our neighborhoods by promoting community policing which promotes good will and cooperation between police, citizens, members of the business community, and private and public social service agencies.
