The Richmond Parks and Recreation Department takes pride in supporting many groups and events throughout the community. It is our way of helping give back to those who give to us!

This section is provided to you for the purpose of finding other community activites that are not Park sponsored but rather Park supported. We hope you find this information helpful in planning your family activities.

Welcome to Hill’s Bark Park located at Middlefork Reservoir, Richmond, Indiana!

The mission of the Friends of the Bark Park is to provide a safe place for dog owners to allow their pets to run and exercise and to establish a fenced in, off leash dog park where well-behaved canine citizens can exercise in a clean, safe environment without endangering or annoying people, property or wildlife.

Hill’s Bark Park was established and constructed in the summer of 2007 and has been a popular site for dogs and owners alike. This year, we are planning Phase II which includes constructing an agility area for training but we need your help. Fencing, watering stations, clean-up stations, trees and landscaping and agility equipment are all items for which funding is needed. Your donation could make the difference. Please consider a financial gift or perhaps a memorial gift to the Hill’s Bark Park. Checks can be made out to Wayne County Foundation, Bark Park Fund and any amount will be greatly appreciated. If you are interested in a sponsorship, please contact the Park office at 983-7275 for more information.

Come out with your canine companion and enjoy the Park!!
