151.39 Placards
151.39 PLACARDS
(a) No dwelling, dwelling unit, rooming house, or rooming house unit which has been placarded as unfit for human habitation shall again be used for human habitation until written approval is secured from and the placard is removed by, the Building Commissioner, Health Officer, or Fire Chief. The Building Commissioner, Health Officer, or Fire Chief shall remove the placard whenever the defect or defects on which the placarding action was based have been eliminated.
(b) No person shall deface or remove the placard from any unfit dwelling, dwelling unit, rooming house, or rooming house unit except as provided in (a) above. (‘72 Code, 44.12) (Ord. 2231-1966) Penalty, see 10.99
