114.02 LICENSE FEE AND CONDITIONS
(a) The City Controller shall grant a jewelry auction license to an applicant who has filed the information required, on the payment by the applicant of a minimum fee of $75 and an additional fee of $15 for each day after the first day that the auction is to be held, and the posting with the City Controller of a bond in the sum of $10,000 which shall be conditioned to indemnify any purchasers at the jewelry auction who suffer any loss by reason of misrepresentation in the sales. No fee or bond shall be required of receivers or other officers conducting the auction sales by order of a court of competent jurisdiction.
(b) No jewelry auction license shall be granted to any person who has not been established in the jewelry business in the city continuously for at least two years immediately prior to the time of the application. (‘72 Code, 32.05) (Ord. 1532-1954)
