74.21 Parking In Excess of 72 Continuous Hours
74.21 PARKING IN EXCESS OF SEVENTY-TWO CONTINUOUS HOURS
 
No vehicle, with or without motive power, including but not limited to mobile campers, boats, motorcycles, mopeds, trailers, wagons, or any vehicle designed for the conveyance of persons, property, or animals, shall be parked on a City street or City right of way for more than 72 continuous hours. Vehicles must be moved a minimum of 500 feet before being returned. An enforcement officer shall, in a prominent place, tag vehicles in violation of this ordinance. This tag shall include the date and time of the tagging and the tagging officer’s badge number. This will serve as notification that the vehicle is considered abandoned and must be moved within 72 hours. If a vehicle is not moved pursuant to the tag, the owner of the vehicle shall be fined $25.00 plus be responsible for the cost of towing and impounding the vehicle. (Ord. 50-1998)
