70.44 BOARD TO DESIGNATE CROSSWALKS AND ESTABLISH SAFETY ZONES
The Board is authorized:
(a) To designate and maintain appropriate devices, marks, or lines on the surface of the roadway, crosswalks, or intersections where in its opinion there is a particular danger to pedestrians crossing the roadway and at such other places as it may deem necessary.
(b) To establish safety zones of such kind and character and at such places as it may deem necessary for the protection of pedestrians. (‘72 Code, 41.27) (Ord. 1781-1960)
