Section 02: V.50.02 : Statutes, Bylaws, Rules, Regulations
This chapter is adopted pursuant to I.C. 19-2-14-1 et seq., as amended, and all other state statutes relating to sewers and sanitation departments and districts. The Board of Sanitary Commissioners shall have all powers conferred by state statute. The Board shall make and enforce whatever bylaws, rules, and regulations it may deem necessary for the safe, economical, and efficient management of the sewage utility, for the construction and use of building sewers and connections, to the sewerage system, for the regulation of the rates and subsequent collection of charges for any strength-of-waste surcharge in general, for the implementation of the provisions of this chapter.
