Section 18: V.50.18 : Test of Waste Characteristics
All measurements, test and analysis of the characteristics of wastes and waters to which reference is made in 50.10 and 50.15 shall be determined in accordance with “Standard Methods” for the control manhole provided for in 50.17 on suitable samples taken at the control manhole. In the event no special manhole has been required, the control manhole shall be considered to be the nearest downstream manhole in the public sewer to the point at which the building sewer is connected.
